5 Updates We Want Now
In the age of the perpetual beta a new version of a software or website goes into development, we get some screen shots and then everyone forgets about it. Here are the 5 new updates we want now.
Internet Explorer 8
When IE 7 came out they promised tab browsing and a faster more secure browser, it turned out the tab browsing was less than spectacular and it was slower than FireFox and also less secure. Now they want to give it another try, promising the same things they promised in IE 7.
Firefox 3
It’s been awhile since the release of FireFox 2 and since then nobody have been pleased by it’s performance. But with FireFox 3 Mozilla promises new features and a faster browser.
Delicious
It’s been a year since Delicious promised us the new version, I don’t really like the current version of Delicious, it’s to plain for me, so I was looking forward to an update. Still waiting.
Twitter had been talking about a new engine for Twitter, one thats more scalable and not based on Ruby on Rails, but most importantly one that wont crash every other day.
iPhone
Thats right, Apple promised a new version of the iPhone in June and with the current supplies drying up we need a new toy to play with.
Something we missed? Post it in the comments.
